Spring Cottage is located in a secluded and almost undiscovered North Norfolk village; Baconsthorpe is 3 miles from the beautiful Georgian town of Holt, and 6 miles from the sea. From the bottom of the garden there are views of the ruins of Baconsthorpe Castle which dates back to the 15^th century, the castle is now managed by English Heritage and is a popular site for picnics.

 

The interior of the cottage is thoughtfully furnished in a stylish and sympathetic fashion with solid oak flooring, comfortable squashy sofa and armchairs, while a wood burning stove provides warmth and character cosy enough for a romantic retreat for two. While two more guests have a private en-suite bedroom in the garden room just across the patio.

 

The kitchen is well equipped and has solid beech work surfaces with an open plan dinning area, the private patio also allows for alfresco dinning, plus a garden with apple trees and shrubs.

 

We provide extensive information for guest detailing the surrounding area with things to do and place’s to eat. Thoughtful touches such as books, games DVD’s and music also supplied.

Bed linen and tea towels supplied but no towels.
